This is the #Flippit story.

  • In 2022, we ordered our very
    first shipment of purpose made and branded Waves Tech Gear!

  • The boat containing the products soon left its mother land and headed to our beloved SA!

  • At the Durban harbour, our shipment was well received by customs to be verified.

  • Then came the very very big floods! The KwaZulu-Natal province was hit with disastrous floods, wreaking havoc through the entire coastal region.

  • Our Shipment was stuck in customs storage facilities, and all the tech’s packaging was destroyed.

  • 2 months later we received a mighty heap of 7 tons of our product all stuffed in 1 ton bags. The situation seemed hopeless!

  • AG FLIP!! Is exactly how we felt when our team stood in front of the heap of rubble. We were devastated and did not know what to do, but we were determined not to simply send our entire shipment to the landfill sites.

  • Because we are always looking to make Waves, we quickly devised a plan to flip the situation around. We employed six people to start sorting, cleaning, testing and
    repackaging each item. To our amazement we found that the majority of our products was still in working condition.

  • Hooray! We managed
    to save most of our shipment from the floods, AND, we employed six people for a whole year (now permanent waves team members :) ). We kept 7 tons of waste out of our beloved land and flipped the script on a what seemed to be a hopeless situation, into another proudly make waves moment.

Thank you for supporting the #flippit story.

As you know by now your product has been through a tough time. We would like to back up your purchase with a 6 month ‘no questions asked’ promise, should the product fail during use.

Our promise requires only that you keep the flippit promise packaging (with the golden flippit promise sticker) safe, and that you contact us below if it stops working, where we will make arrangements to replace the product free of charge.
