RETURN POLICY
EYEWEAR DISTRIBUTOR (PTY) LTD T/A WAVES
1 Introduction
1.1 This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions, accordingly, words defined in the Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in this Policy, unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.
2 Return process
2.1 If you are unsatisfied with a purchase, you can, within 10 (ten) business days of delivery, send us a request, by making use of the Contact Us tab available on our Website.
2.2 Upon receipt of the returned Goods, we will inspect them to verify that they are unused, undamaged, unaltered, and in a resalable condition, with all original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories included. Goods must be returned at your own cost to 11 Ring St, George Industria, George, 6536. Returns that do not meet these requirements may be rejected. If the returned Goods pass inspection and your return request is approved, we will, at our discretion, either replace the Goods (subject to stock availability), exchange them for a product of similar value, or provide a refund in accordance with the terms set out below.
3 Replacement and/or Exchanged Goods
3.1 Goods that are approved for replacement, or exchange, will be delivered to you as set out in the delivery clause of our Terms and Conditions.
3.2 You agree to pay the relevant delivery charges for delivery of such replacement and/or exchanged Goods.
4 Refunds
4.1 Upon written approval of a request for a refund, Waves will process payment of the purchase amount within 10 (ten) business days of such approval, subject to a 10% handling fee.
5 Preparation of Goods for Return
5.1 To ensure your request is not declined or delayed, and that it is processed as quickly as possible you are responsible for the following when returning the Goods.
5.1.1 package the Goods safely and securely for protection during transit;
5.1.2 include all accessories and parts that were sold with the product; and
5.1.3 comply with any other reasonable request made by Waves when arranging for the return.
6 Goods not eligible for Return
6.1 The following Goods will not be eligible for replacement, exchange, or refund, unless specifically approved by Waves:
6.1.1 Goods purchased while on Sale, or subject to a special promotion.
6.1.2 Goods purchased by use of Gift Cards, or Coupons.
6.1.3 Goods which you used, or that were damaged in any way.
7 Standard Warranty
7.1 Goods purchased on our Website are subject to a standard 6 (six) month warranty. If you have received a product which turns out to be defective or otherwise of poor quality, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect or poor quality, by making use of the Contact Us tab available on our Website.
7.2 Unfortunately we cannot facilitate returns that fall outside of the 6 (six) month period.
7.3 A product may have a supplier warranty that extends beyond the 6 (six) month Standard Warranty. If such a product turns out to be defective more than 6 (six) months after delivery, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect, but in any event within the extended supplier warranty period after delivery / collection of the product.
